SYNOPSIS:
The Atlantic high pressure system will continue to dominate the weather pattern across the region. However, weak instability along with pockets of moisture in the easterly winds will cause some showers during this forecast period.
Additionally, long period swells are causing seas to peak near 8 feet. The small craft and high surf advisory will remain in effect until this evening. Marine conditions will improve by Monday, but is forecast to quickly deteriorate once again by Tuesday and Wednesday; therefore, another advisory may be issued. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to continue exercising caution, especially on the eastern coast.
