MARIGOT--A Czechoslovakian tourist couple was robbed at gun point at Fort Louis, Marigot, at 2:00pm on Saturday, the Gendarmerie reported. The couple lost US $120 in the incident.
This was the second armed robbery to occur at the fort since two male tourists were robbed on Sunday, August 2. None of the tourists were harmed in the incidents.
Capitaine Emmanuel Maignan said the Gendarmerie is investigating, however, it is not certain yet if it is the same suspect committing both robberies, as in this most recent incident the suspect is dressed differently.
