PHILIPSBURG--St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) reminded the general public on Wednesday that registration for all aspects of Carnival is closing on November 1.
SCDF opened registration in May for Carnival 2019, the 50th anniversary of St. Maarten Carnival, giving the public six months to register.
SCDF explained that all registration takes place online via the Carnival website
www.sxm-carnival.com . Registration is open for bands, troupes, calypsonians, road march contenders and season passes.
“We urge everyone to register to participate in Carnival 2019 and to avoid any misunderstandings. Registration is the first step in participating. Once the registration process is closed, there will be no extensions,” SCDF stated
