SCDF office now open for Carnival business

~ Season pass, booth payments can be made ~

PHILIPSBURG--St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) will open its offices today to handle all Carnival business. The SCDF office is located on Illidge Road above Windward Islands Bank and will be open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

  All Carnival-related inquiries can be made at the office by anyone needing information or wanting to do some kind of business with SCDF during the Carnival period. All persons who registered for Carnival 2018 season passes can make payment on these passes and have until March 15 to do so.

  The price of the Carnival season pass remains US $250 and can be paid in two instalments of $125 each.

  Carnival 2018 booth-holders can also start making payments on their booths. As customary, booth-holders can pay for the booths in several instalments. The booth must be completely paid for by April 1.

  “We are swinging into full operation now for Carnival. This is the crucial preparation stage in order to be fully ready for when Carnival officially opens. We urge all booth-holders and season-pass registrants to stick to the payment deadlines to avoid any misunderstandings,” SCDF stated in a press release on Sunday.
