The Seventh-Day Adventist Church in St. Eustatius honoured Monica Jarvis-Merkman (right) on Saturday for her contributions and commitment to the church’s Sabbath School.
Reinilda Herbert-Hook (left) gave Jarvis-Merkman a token of appreciation. She has contributed several decades of “tireless work” to the school division, also in the capacity of secretary. All teachers past and present were honoured for their service. Conducted by Ursula Lopes, the children’s division paid tribute to the teachers.
