ST. EUSTATIUS--Santa Claus made a brief stop at the island of St. Eustatius on Wednesday, December 16.

Santa Claus and his elves drove around the island and threw handfuls of candy to the children and those young at heart.

Santa was escorted by a member of the Caribbean Netherlands Police Force, St. Eustatius, who blew the horn and flashed the vehicle’s lights to announce Santa’s arrival.

Children could be seen running from their homes to grab the candy that was thrown by Santa and his elves, who sang the song “Ho, Ho, Ho, How Did Santa Get Here”.

Children were seen running from street to street collecting the candy.
