Road repair project underway

The road paving/patching project under execution by the Ministry of Infrastructure’s Department of Infrastructure Management started in the first week of September and focuses on the repaving and re-patching of a number of roads in several districts, beginning with main roads followed by secondary roads. The Ministry has purchased 2,000 metric tonnes of asphalt to carry out the works. Completed are Sucker Garden Road and W.J.A. Nisbeth Road. Work is ongoing on L.B. Scott Road. Minister Miklos Giterson thanked the public for their continued patience with traffic interruptions due to the works. Giterson requests that all drivers exercise caution and increased vigilance for their safety and that of road workers when traveling past work sites.
