Residents to King: ‘We need water!’

MIDDLE REGION--“We need water!” was the constant cry that greeted King Willem-Alexander in his tour of the hurricane ravaged districts of St. Maarten.

Most residents are struggling to get water. Utilities company GEBE has delivered water to some areas since the storm. The Royal Dutch Marines have also given out bottled water.
This resident of Middle Region personalised the dire situation many of the King’s subjects are battling after monster-Hurricane Irma razed their neighbourhoods.
A comprehensive story of the King’s visit with photos will be posted on The Daily Herald’s website and Facebook page later on Tuesday.
