The green garbage bin on Boardwalk Boulevard appeared to be too far away for some good-time beach-goers to walk to it and dispose of their garbage. Instead, they opted to leave their green beer bottles, caps, black plastic bag, etc., right where they had their drinks.
The country has seen a stark increase in people indiscriminately dumping all manner of garbage on the streets, beaches and in their neighbourhoods. This lack of pride in the general environment is resulting in garbage-lined streets and dirty areas.
