SURFACE WINDS: 
This afternoon through Monday midday: East-northeasterly with a gentle to moderate breeze of 08 to 17 mph.   

    

SYNOPSIS:     

A relatively stable air mass will dominate the weather across the region. Additionally, varying concentrations of Saharan dust will bring hazy conditions to the local area. However, despite this there remains a possibility of passing showers particularly during the overnight and early morning hours.  

Seas are expected to peak near 6 feet during the next few days.    

   

 STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate       WAVES/SWELLS: up to 6 feet   

    

SPECIAL FEATURE:   

Showers and thunderstorms associated with a tropical wave, 2660 miles east southeast of St Maarten, are showing some signs of organization. Environmental conditions could support some development of this system over the next couple of days while it moves westward at 15 mph across the tropical eastern Atlantic.

THE METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THIS SYSTEM AND UPDATE THE PUBLIC.
