Moderate winds and partly cloudy skies will prevail as the Atlantic high pressure system continues to dominate the weather pattern across the region. Pockets of moisture embedded in the wind flow may cause brief local showers at times.
Seas are expected to peak near 8 feet before subsiding on Friday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution, especially along the northern and eastern shores.
