SYNOPSIS:
A relatively dry, stable and warm air mass will limit precipitation this afternoon. By tonight, a tropical wave will begin affecting the local region. The associated moisture and instability will increase cloudiness and the chances of showers along with a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Seas will peak near 5 feet during the next few days.
STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to moderate WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet
SPECIAL FEATURES: A tropical wave located midway between the Cabo Verde Islands and the Lesser Antilles is producing a large but disorganized area of cloudiness and showers. Conditions are expected to become more conducive for development in a couple days, and a tropical depression could form early next week while the system moves westward across the tropical Atlantic.
