SYNOPSIS:
A weak Atlantic high pressure system will maintain mostly light winds across the region. A combination of moisture at the lower level of the atmosphere, light winds and daytime heating, may cause isolated showers particularly during the early part of this forecast period.
Seas are expected to remain slight to moderate for the next few days.
STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to moderate WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet
SPECIAL FEATURES: A weak area of low pressure associated with a tropical wave continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms several hundred miles east of the Windward Islands. As the system moves westward, some slow development is possible during the next few days before upper-level winds become unfavorable for tropical cyclone formation.

Disorganized cloudiness and showers located a few hundred miles north and northeast of the Greater Antilles are associated with a surface trough. Little to no development of this system is expected during the next few days. However
environmental conditions could become a little more conducive late this week as the system moves west-northwestward.
