SURFACE WINDS:  This Afternoon through Friday midday: East to southeasterly with a gentle to moderate breeze of 06 to 13 mph.

 

SYNOPSIS:  

Relatively dry and stable conditions will persist across the region today. Meanwhile, the Atlantic high pressure system will maintain a gentle to moderate breeze over the local area.

Seas are expected to remain slight to moderate through the next few days. However, a High Surf advisory has been issued for St. Maarten as long period swells are expected to affect local waters today and tomorrow. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.

 

STATE OF THE SEA:  Slight to moderate        WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet
