This afternoon through Tuesday midday: Party cloudy with light haze and brief isolated showers possible.

This afternoon through Tuesday midday: East southeasterly with a gentle to moderate breeze of 08 to 16 mph.

 

SYNOPSIS:  

A relatively stable atmosphere will limit shower activity across the region. Additionally, the Atlantic high pressure system will maintain mostly moderate east southeasterly winds.

A high surf advisory is in effect for St. Maarten as long period swells are expected to affect local waters today. Seas are expected to peak near 7 feet before subsiding on Tuesday evening. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.

 

STATE OF THE SEA:  Moderate        WAVES/SWELLS: up to 7 feet
