SYNOPSIS:
Drifting patches of low level clouds associated with a weak frontal boundary will account for cloudy periods and isolated showers across the region. Meanwhile, a strengthened Atlantic high pressure system will continue to generate brisk winds.
Due to the effects of north easterly swells and strong winds, seas are expected to peak near 9 feet before subsiding on Saturday. A small craft advisory remains in effect until Saturday while a high surf advisory remains in effect until 12:00 noon today. Sea bathers and small craft operators are strongly advised to exercise caution.
