SYNOPSIS:
Low-level moisture and instability will continue to generate occasional cloudy skies with isolated showers across the local area.
Long period swells associated with Tropical Storm Nadine will account for moderate sea conditions. Waves are expected to peak up to 6 feet during the next few days. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.

SPECIAL FEATURE:
At 11:00 am, the center of Tropical Storm Nadine was located near latitude 14.1 N, longitude 34.0 W or about 1692 miles east-southeast of St. Maarten. The system is moving towards the northwest near 08 mph with maximum sustained winds near 60 mph and higher gusts. Nadine is forecast to gradually weaken and degenerate into a trough of low pressure over the weekend.
This system does not pose a threat to St. Maarten.
The Meteorological Department St. Maarten will continue to monitor the progress of this system.
