SURFACE WINDS: This afternoon through Thursday midday: Northeasterly with a gentle to moderate breeze of 08 to 17 miles per hour.

SYNOPSIS: The Atlantic high pressure ridge will maintain a gentle to moderate northeasterly wind flow across the local area during this forecast period. Patches of low level clouds embedded in that wind flow will account for isolated showers.

A Small craft advisory is in effect due to above normal sea swells. Small craft operators and sea bathers should remain vigilant and exercise caution.
