Increasing moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave approaching the region will account for increasingly cloudy skies, isolated showers and possible isolated thunderstorms across the local area.
A small craft advisory remains in effect for above normal seas with waves peaking near 8 feet, and brisk winds. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to continue exercising caution.
