This afternoon through Tuesday midday: Easterly to east-southeast with a light to moderate breeze of 05 to 13 mph. 

SYNOPSIS:   

A combination of moisture embedded within the wind flow and daytime heating could trigger brief showers across the local area. 

Slight to moderate seas, peaking up to 5 feet, are expected through the next few days.

SIGNIFICANT TROPICAL WEATHER SYSTEMS: 
The board area of low pressure (Invest 92L) located in the central became better organized and is now tropical depression three. The depression is moving toward the west near 21 mph and is forecast to become a hurricane and move across the Lesser Antilles towards the end of the week. Residents should closely monitor the updates for this system. 

The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor this system and update the public accordingly.
