Public workers are currently building retaining walls alongside Cherry Road in St. Eustatius.
These walls are to keep dirt from tumbling onto the streets. Fences are also being replaced. Completion of the Cherry Tree Project was initially scheduled for March 31. However, due to a delay in the delivery of the last shipment of bricks to finish paving the sidewalks, the project is now expected to be finalised in April 2021.
