Prime distributes relief items in various districts

Relief items being taken to residents in one of the districts recently.

PHILIPSBURG--Prime Distributors teamed up with Rotary Club of St. Maarten to provide relief to residents in various districts. They donated more than 1,000 food baskets to residents around the country recently.

  Prime said in a press release that various suppliers such as Rivianna Foods had donated a full container load of Mahatma Rice and Ronzoni Pasta products to Rotary Club of St. Maarten to be part of a programme to ensure that the population most affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria have food in their cupboards.

  The Prime Distributors team and Rotarians prepared more than 1,000 food baskets that were distributed in the various districts on Friday, September 13. The distribution will continue with several foundations in the coming weeks.

  “Prime Distributors assures the community of St. Maarten/St. Martin that we are here to help,” Prime said in a press release.
