Price of gasoline drops Thursday

PHILIPSBURG--The maximum consumer prices of unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel will be going down as of Thursday, October 6, at 6:00am, the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication said in a statement on Tuesday.

As of Thursday, the maximum consumer price of unleaded gasoline will go down from the current price of NAf. 1.863 per litre to 1.805 per litre. The price for diesel fuel will decrease from NAf. 1.347 to 1.321, the Ministry said in citing downward adjustments for unleaded gasoline and gasoil on the international level.

On September 3, the consumer price of gasoline increased from NAf. 1.748 to 1.863 per litre, whereas the diesel price went up from NAf. 1.274 per litre to 1.347.
