CAY HILL--Presidente Beer, distributed by CC1 St. Maarten, donated more than 100 food baskets this past week to persons in need in the community.

Together with K1 Britannia Foundation, CC1 St. Maarten gave out the items based on a list of persons who had requested assistance, along with information received from other sources about persons who needed food and water.

“During these difficult times of COVID-19, we as CC1 St. Maarten and Presidente Beer are more than willing to help wherever possible,” it was stated in a press release issued on Tuesday.

CC1 St. Maarten thanked Presidente Beer, K1 Britannia Foundation and the St. Maarten Police Force for their assistance during the process.

“Furthermore, we are all in this together. We therefore must come together to assist our island and our people. Regardless of our people’s race, income, status or where they live – everyone needs help,” it was stated in the release.
