Buzzy Bees Inn day care centre held their 2018 graduation ceremony at William and Christine Flanders Community Centre in St. Eustatius on Tuesday morning.
The graduation theme was: “Play, Learn, Grow – off to school we go.” The 19 graduates were brimming with excitement and energy during the ceremony. Acting Government Commissioner Mervyn Stegers was present at the event, during which the 2018 co-valedictorian of Gwendoline van Putten school and former Buzzy Bee Z’dijah Romney was the keynote speaker. Former director Rita Hassel-Bass, who retired in 2017, was acknowledged for her past work with the Buzzy Bees.
