CAY BAY—An illegal brothel was uncovered in Cay Bay on Tuesday morning by police, who found nine women from South America working as prostitutes, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.
Various investigative authorities including the Police Force of Sint Maarten’s Human Trafficking and People Smuggling Unit, the airport Alpha Team as well as the Enforcement and Fraud Departments joined forces in this operation that resulted in the the arrest of one suspect.
