Pathway littered by debris

The makeshift pathway between the former Prins Willem-Alexander Primary School and Sister Magda Primary School is now littered by hurricane-strewn debris, including dangerous zinc pieces and construction materials. The path, which was upgraded by a community effort a few weeks before Hurricane Irma hit the country, is used frequently by children heading to school. St. Peters residents call on a clean-up crew to clear area before a child gets hurt. Some residents called on the Dutch military to help, if possible, because calls for local help have gone unanswered. (John Halley photo)
