Aisaiah Nunes is the recipient of the prestigious President of Parliament Award 2017 in recognition of being a great example to the youth and for contributing positively to the community and the country. Nunes was chosen for playing a major role in the leadership of the St. Maarten AIDS Foundation youth group during the process of raising awareness of sexually reproductive health issues that affect the people of St Maarten, especially teenagers. The award was presented by President of Parliament, Sarah Wescot-Williams in the presence of several Members of Parliament and well-wishers in the Legislative Hall of the Parliament building.
