One Love concert draws large crowd

PHILIPSBURG--One Love Reggae Concert hosted by St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) drew a large crowd at Carnival Village on Thursday. The line-up included super-stars Ky-Mani Marley, Spragga Benz, Romain Virgo, Demarco and songstress Alaine with music by Mix Master Pauly, BettiV and Master of Ceremonies Shadow Man.

SCDF Marketing Director Rolando Brison said patrons enjoyed the One Love Concert and SCDF wanted to make an enjoyable concert for real reggae-lovers. He made special mention of TelCell for supporting all SCDF shows and invited other corporate sponsors to follow suit.

Thousands rocked to the performers’ music as the end of Carnival draws near. The final international show takes place tonight: Sabor Latino hosted by Montage N.V.
