National Alliance (NA), headed by newly elected leader Education and Culture Minister Silveria Jacobs, submitted its list of 23 candidates for the February 26 snap parliamentary election to the Central Voting Bureau on Friday afternoon.
It was the first party of the day to hand in a slate with the maximum allowed number of candidates.
Joining Jacobs on the slate are Public Housing and Infrastructure Minister Christophe Emmanuel, party deputy leader Member of Parliament Rodolphe Samuel, MP Ardwell Iron, and newcomer to the slate Anna Rabess-Richardson.
In the number six and seven slots are MPs Hyacinth Richardson and George Pantophlet.
Returning NA candidate Rene Violenus, newcomers Egbert Jurendy Doran and Solange Ludmilla York-Duncan round off the party’s top 10.
MP Romeo Pantophlet is at number 11 followed by Leonard “Lenny” Priest, Jimmy Challenger, Herbert Martina, Lucrencia “Loekie” Morales, Ricardo McQuilkin, Leroy Vaun, Robert Budike, Roberto Arrindell, Dennison Philips, Oswald Bell, and Jelani Gumbs.
At number 23 is former party leader and prime minister William Marlin.
Jacobs said to the voting population that the Alliance is "prepared to ensure you are well represented" in Parliament.
