MPs to discuss state of affairs of Airport today

PHILIPSBURG--Members of Parliament (MPs) will discuss the current state of affairs at Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) during a meeting of the Central Committee of Parliament at 2:00pm today, Wednesday.

The Shareholder Representative of the Airport will be present at the meeting. The meeting was requested by United People’s (UP) Party MPs Franklin Meyers, Theo Heyliger, Sidhart “Cookie” Bijlani, Tamara Leonard and Claret Connor. It is a continuation meeting of the meeting held on April 3.

The public can follow the deliberations in person at the House of Parliament located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.

The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120; 98.1 PearlFM radio; www.pearlfmradio.sx and via www.sxmparliament.org.
