MPs talk dump fume health hazard in urgent meet today

PHILIPSBURG--Members of Parliament (MPs) will have a discussion on the results of a survey that was conducted regarding fumes emanating from the dump and the health hazard this carries, in an urgent public plenary session of Parliament at 2:00pm today.

The meeting was requested by National Alliance (NA) MPs Ardwell Irion, Silveria Jacobs, Egbert Jurendy Doran, William Marlin and Christophe Emmanuel.

Minister of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure VROMI, Christopher Wever and Acting Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labour VSA, Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin will be present.

The public can follow the deliberations in person at the House of Parliament, which is located across from the Courthouse in Philipsburg.
