MARIGOT--A cheque presentation took place at Motorworld, Marigot, on Wednesday for Franthony Weinum, one of the highest scoring Baccalureate students at the Lycée.
Weinum (17) obtained his Baccalaureate in commerce scoring 16.53 out of 20 with a “Trés Bien” mention and he was first in the Guadeloupe Academy. He will be going on to university in Martinique to study business management.
He received a cheque for 800 euros sponsored by Motorworld, Caisse D’Epargne and General Auto Services.
Also receiving a cheque for 300 euros and a new laptop computer was Lucie Lebrere (16) from the Lycee in La Savane, who obtained an excellent score in sciences, receiving congratulations from the jury in addition. She will be pursuing her studies in Toulouse, France, to become a chemist.
