Large piles of debris and garbage are still present along Boardwalk Boulevard almost 10 weeks after Hurricane Irma slammed into the country.
The area is one of the first cruise passengers will see when the first ship returns post-Irma on December 4. Along the beach, there are many reminders of the monster hurricane – damaged buildings and debris. There are also signs of recovery, with several restaurants under reconstruction and others already open to the public.
