In recognition of Rotary’s December theme “Disease Prevention and Treatment,” Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunset brought some cheer to Mental Health Foundation (MHF) patrons by donating much needed supplies recently.
MHF had sent a wish list to Rotary Sunset a few weeks prior, requesting items needed for the MHF clients, including a washing machine, two-burner stove, men’s clothing, boots, overalls, gift bags, office chairs, a printer and mini-refrigerator. Rotary Sunset, having sought sponsorship from Office World, Cotton Cool, Kwik Ideas, 5 Star Hardware, Kooyman, Adolphus Technology and Super Plaza, was able to fulfil all the MHF wishes and was elated to make the donation in the presence of Rotary International President Barry Rassin.
