Master at work

“Plein-air” impressionist Roland Richardson was seen Thursday afternoon capturing in water colours a blooming flamboyant tree alongside Gladiola Road in Mary’s Fancy. The “July Tree” is the artist’s trademark and during the characteristic tree’s flowering season he often takes his easel, brushes and paint to capture the image of this majestic tree with its vibrantly coloured flowers on canvas.
