SUCKER GARDEN--A jealous husband is now behind bars after he was arrested for ill-treating his wife with a machete on Arch Road in Sucker Garden on Friday.
Police spokesperson Chief Inspector Ricardo Henson said in a police press release on Sunday that the man with initials P.P.C was arrested around 10:30pm on Friday for using a machete to harm his spouse.
C.’s wife sustained several wounds to her body which needed medical attention as a result of the mistreatment. Henson said the man remains in custody pending further investigation of the incident.
