PHILIPSBURG--A man D.C. was arrested by officers after a firearm was found in his vehicle during a routine traffic control by police in the evening hours on Sunday.
The suspect could not provide an acceptable explanation as to who owned the firearm.
A considerable amount compressed marijuana was found during a search at the suspect’s home. Both the firearm and drugs were confiscated for further investigation.
The suspect remains in custody for further investigation.
