SUCKER GARDEN--The St. Maarten Lions Club announced on Monday that its twelfth annual Lion Rudy Hoeve Health and Wellness Fair, which was scheduled to be held at Belair Community Center on Saturday, March 28, has been postponed until further notice.

The fair’s organising committee met with stakeholders on Thursday, March 12, and unanimously decided to postpone the event as a precautionary measure due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

“Lion Rudy Hoeve Health and Wellness Fair committee members would like to thank all our sponsors and stakeholders for their support of the 12th annual Lion Rudy Health and Wellness Fair thus far and we look forward to their continued support as we continue with our plans for the fair on a future date, once this virus is under control,” according to a press release issued by the Lions Club on Monday.
