PHILIPSBURG--The Prosecutor's Office requested a life prison sentence for R.D. and 25 years in jail for J.L., for armed robbery and the shooting death of the late Police Officer Gamali Benjamin.
They are the two main suspects in the case that for safety reasons is being held at the Belair Community Centre. The trial of the two other defendants M.A. and O.C. will be handled on Thursday.
