Residents of Beacon Hill are more than relieved that electricity company GEBE has fixed and added more lights to the road leading into their neighbourhood this week. The lights also add a bit more comfort to people frequenting the popular Maho Beach and area bars and restaurants. Police bike patrols have also been increased in the area. The lighting project comes more than a week after a Canadian visitor was shot in front of his daughter in the robbery on Beacon Hill Road. He later died from the wound.
