KLM resumes flights to St. Maarten

Royal Dutch Airline KLM resumed scheduled service to Princess Juliana International Airport SXM on Sunday following the passage of Hurricanes Irma and Maria which severely damaged the Airport facilities in September. “Although the Dutch national carrier had postponed this flight from an earlier date, it still came almost as a St. Maarten Day gift,” said Airport Chief Operations Officer Michel Hyman on Sunday. “We are very happy to welcome KLM back direct from Amsterdam. Slowly but surely, as our recovery progresses, we look forward to continuing the very positive partnership we have enjoyed through the years with the airline and all the others too.”
