King visits Curaçao Met Office

WILLEMSTAD--Dutch King Willem-Alexander is in Curaçao. He is expected to arrive in St. Maarten in the coming days.


He flew into Curaçao today, Sunday, with his intended destinations as the Hurricane Irma-ravaged island of St. Maarten and sister islands of Saba and St. Eustatius. The latter two islands did not sustain as much damage as St. Maarten.
While on Curaçao, the King visited the Curaçao Meteorological Office. He was guided by Met Office Head Albert Martis. He also visited the hospital.
