The French Traffic authorities and the Dutch-side Police Force held joint traffic controls at the roundabout on Union Road-causeway bridge and at the border in Bellevue last week Wednesday between 4:00 and 6:00pm. A total of 48 vehicles were checked during these controls and a 16 fines were issued to drivers who were not in compliance with the traffic laws. Many other controls will follow throughout the year.
