Bridge Builders St. Maarten, a group of young people mentored by Divina Mirpuri and some adults, came together in Emilio Wilson Historical and Cultural Park at the foot of Sentry Hill, the highest point on the Dutch side, to create a human peace sign on Wednesday to mark International Day of Peace as designated by the United Nations.
The effort was replicated by Learning Unlimited Preparatory School and Ideal Preschool. This was the first activity of Bridge Builders. The next is a walkathon in observance of World Meatless Day in November.
