Staff at Queen Beatrix Medical Centre in St. Eustatius wore various types of red clothing in commemoration of World Aids Day, which is observed on December 1, around the world. Various offices were also decked out in red. As World Aids Day falls on a Saturday this year and most offices will be closed today, personnel decided to observe Aids Day on Friday instead.
