Hurricane-damaged restaurants

The former hurricane-damaged restaurants on parcel AW34 between Pedros and Kon Tiki on Orient Beach have been completely demolished and debris removed to leave this large expanse of white beach. The Collectivité’s two-million-euro project will see modules for eight restaurants built in a contemporary Creole style set further back than the previous structures, four boutiques and a tourist market. There will be parking for 80 cars and restroom facilities. It was not clear exactly when construction will start.
