Homicide suspect taken to Bonaire

Officers of the Police Force Caribbean Netherlands KPCN and Royal Dutch Marechaussee readying themselves to board the aircraft to take suspect R.C.B. from the Philippines to the detention facility in Bonaire.

 

ST. EUSTATIUS--A 43-year-old man from the Philippines, who is suspected of involvement in the deaths of two of his Filipino shipmates, was transported to the detention facility in Bonaire on a chartered flight on Monday.

  Suspect R.C.B. was escorted by members of the Police Force Caribbean Netherlands KPCN and the Royal Dutch Marechaussee.

  The alleged double homicide took place on board the Italian oil tanker RBD Gino Ferretti last week. The suspect was escorted off the tanker on Friday, transported on board a line boat and taken into police custody. He was seen at Queen Beatrix Medical Centre every day since Friday as he had injuries that required medical attention.
