A Fresh Market is taking place at the St. Eustatius slaughterhouse today, Friday, April 17, from 10:00am.

The St. Eustatius government is urging the community to buy local produce to limit the stress on supermarkets due to the coronavirus pandemic and to eat healthier to build their immune systems. The slaughterhouse instituted new measures based on the social-distancing guidelines. To prevent large gatherings persons were asked to call ahead and place their orders at tel. 318-2622. There are six vendors present at the market selling fish, chicken and other meats, Dutch products, smoked products, drinks and other fresh items.
