More than 1,000 persons attended the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth, and Sport's (ECYS') Department of Sport and Culture and NAGICO Insurance’s first-ever Health, Sport and Culture Expo at Raoul Illidge Sports Complex on Saturday, August 27.
The well-attended event showcased a cross-section of health, sports, and cultural organisations on the island, allowing attendees to witness demonstrations, and learn about the organisations. Attendees also had an opportunity to sign up to join any of the groups. There was also salsa, capoeira, yoga, and Zumba classes, wellness check-ups by physicians and professional organisations, and various other demonstrations. Photo shows a scene at the event.
